Faq
What if I am late for my reservation?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on
time so the next guest will not be delayed. The full value of your treatment will be charged. Your Spa experience is your time, and you
should delight in it to the fullest.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our time as well as yours is important, so we respectfully request 24 hours’ notice to avoid being charged the full service fee.  We would
be happy to reschedule your reservation for a more convenient time if necessary.  If you have no showed or cancelled last minute for
your reservation more than three times, we require a credit card on file before booking any further services.  Cancellations of Wedding /
Spa Parties require seven days’ notice. 
What are your accepted methods of payment?
We accept Breze gift cards, Mastercard, Visa, Interact debit cards and cash.
We do not accept personal cheques.  At this time Aveda gift cards are not compatible with our system. 
What about gratuities?
Gratuities are not included in our service prices, or included with our Gift cards.  This is a personal appreciation of our service to you.  If you wish to leave a gratuity for your service provider you can do so at the front desk when paying for your service. 
Can I bring my children with me?
In order for you and our other guests to enjoy their experience, we ask that you arrange child care prior to your time with us.  Neither our staff nor you can be responsible for your child while you receive services.  Age appropriate children may sit by themselves in the waiting area however any disturbance to our team or other guest will be addressed.  There are exceptions for special occasions.
Is there a minimum age for services?
We require a parent or guardian signature for anyone under the age of 16 requiring waxing services.  As we do not offer child care, we have found through experience that the environment at Breze is not ideal for children under the age of 10.  Please contact management if you have any questions regarding this policy
What if I am unsatisfied with the service I received?
Guest satisfaction is Breze’s signature.  If within seven days you are not 100% satisfied with the results of our service, we would love to hear from you as your feedback is appreciated and welcomed. 
What is your return policy on your products?
If you are unsatisfied with a product you have purchased, with a receipt we would be happy to provide you with a full refund.  If you do not have your receipt we would be happy to provide you with a store credit.  Gift cards are non-refundable.
How do I make a reservation?
Please give us a call at (250) 758-6822, or email us at info@brezesalonandspa.com.  A member of our Guest Services team will help you book a reservation with us.  We request a credit card if you are booking services over an hour and a half in length. 
How much notice do you need to schedule an appointment?
We recommend booking your reservation in advance.  Pre-booking reservations at the end of your service increases the likelihood of us having a time and date available to suite your schedule.  
Do you take walk in guests?
If there is someone available at that time we would be more than happy to accommodate you at Breze. 
Can I book a Spa / Wedding party?
Yes!  Customized spa parties are available for all occasions.  Upon consultation.  50% deposit and credit card details are required at time of reservation.  We are happy to accommodate our guests with regards to time, coming in early or staying later as might be required for
spa parties. 
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled reservation.  We would love you to relax and enjoy a beverage, and a warm aromatic towel before your service.  We encourage that your turn off your cell phone, and leave the outside world behind.  If it is your first visit with us, we will ask you to complete a short, confidential questionnaire (completely optional).  We do this to ensure we have any pertinent information that may affect your service here today.
Is Aveda hair colour natural?
Aveda hair colour is 97% naturally derived from plants and non-petroleum based minerals. 
Do you perform colour corrections?
Colour corrections can only be done after a consultation.  Our best advice is to avoid using non-professional colouring products on your hair.  Colour corrections can be very time consuming, costly, and damaging to your hair.  We require that you sign a waiver as we cannot guarantee the desired results.
Do you offer hair extensions?
Yes, we will require a 50% deposit upon consultation.
Can I book an Up-Do for my wedding/prom/special occasion?
Yes.  We ask that you come in for a consultation beforehand.  This will be a verbal, complimentary session.  Please bring pictures, or any ideas with you.  If you would like a full trial service, it will be at the full cost of an Up-Do. 
What should I wear coming in for my spa service?
Please wear whatever you feel comfortable with.  For appropriate services we provide robes and towels, which you may wear over your undergarments. Your body will be professionally draped with only the area being worked on exposed.  Please bring a pair of open toed shoes or sandals if you are having a pedicure.  We do have disposable sandals, but they are not suitable to wear if you are driving home.
Can I have a Manicure, or Pedicure if I have nail fungus?
As this is a medical condition, we recommend you see your family doctor and have this treated before these services can be performed.
Can I get a massage if I am pregnant?
Our team is trained in relaxation massage. We recommend seeing a professional certified in prenatal massage.
Do you have a registered massage therapist?
Breze does not currently have a RMT on staff. 
What’s the difference between a microdermabrasion and an Aveda Botanical Skin Resurfacing Facial?
The Aveda Botanical Skin Resurfacing Facial process gently sloughs off skin cells, smoothes fine lines, and helps reduce the aging process – without all the redness and irritation of microderm. It’s a relaxing experience while your skin is beautified.
What’s the difference between a microdermabrasion and an Aveda Botanical Skin Resurfacing Facial?
Is waxing okay for everybody?
It's fine for most, but isn't appropriate for those on certain medications such as Retinoids and Accutane, or for people with diabetes or particular skin conditions.
Is having a waxing service painful?
It can be uncomfortable at first as it is a new sensation.  Discomfort dissipates quickly, and will decrease with regular treatments. 
How long does hair have to be before a waxing service?
Hair must be between a quarter and a half of an inch.  If the hair is too short is will not be removed by the wax.  If it is too long the hair can break off instead of coming out from the root cleanly.
How long with the results last?
It varies from person to person, but generally between 3 and 6 weeks. 
What kind of wax do you use?
We have two different kinds of wax.  We have a no-strip hard wax, as well as an all natural soft honey wax. 
Can I have a bikini or Brazilian wax while I am menstruating or pregnant?
Yes, however your skin may be more sensitive at this time.
